I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming, monsters calling my name.
LET ME STAY
Where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops tell a story as they fall…
I’ve recently learned something about people.
We’re neither good, nor bad. We’re not amazing or disgusting.
Think about it. I don’t know you. I don’t want to know you. I smile to you. Do you have the foolishness to believe my smile means something? Do you have the arrogance to believe there is a soul inside me? Do you have the innocence to believe my heart is but a muscle?
I am cold, dead inside, not caring about you, not thinking about you.
I don’t care if you exist.
I would say five, but I don’t wanna sound too smart.
